USB-Rechargeable Interactive Snake Cat Toy

Add movement to supervised play with this USB-rechargeable interactive snake cat toy. Its segmented red, black and cream body is designed to travel in an S-shaped motion, with LED eyes and a moving tongue.

How it works

According to the supplier, switching the toy on starts movement. When it encounters an obstacle, it is designed to reverse and change direction. The supplier describes a sleep mode after approximately two minutes of free movement, with a gentle tap waking it again. These behaviours and timings have not been independently tested.

Assembly and contents

The supplier states that the snake arrives in four detachable sections that connect at the joints. Assemble fully before play and check that every connection is secure. Includes one snake toy and the pictured USB charging cable. A mains adapter is not shown as included.

Do not push or turn the wheels by hand; the supplier warns this can damage the mechanism.

Charging

Switch the toy off before charging and use the supplied cable. The supplier gives an approximate charging time of 40 minutes: the red indicator lights during charging and turns off when charged. Follow the instructions supplied with the product.

The supplier specifically warns against using a fast charger. An exact input voltage/current, battery capacity and playtime per charge have not been supplied. Do not leave charging unattended, and keep the toy and cable away from pets while charging.

Supervised play and care

Use on a dry, clear, level surface away from stairs and water. Surface compatibility has not been confirmed for carpets or rough ground. Introduce gently and stop if your cat appears frightened. This is a moving chase toy, not a chew toy; do not allow chewing, pulling apart or swallowing of sections or small parts. Store out of reach after play.

Inspect the body, joints and cable before each use. Stop use if damaged. Although some supplier copy mentions dogs and pranks, suitability for dogs and children has not been verified. Do not use it to frighten people or animals. Dimensions, weight and material composition remain unspecified.
